Established in July
2004, we have been growing ever
since, in facilities, in programs, and in service to our
community.
The very nature of our center
focuses on growth of minds. Participants in various workshops
and programs learn about our natural world, and how it affects daily
life.
We focus on youth
development,
knowing leadership and life coping skills arm youth as they grow into
competent,
repsectful adults, and active citizens for good in their community and
world.
We focus on sustainability,
knowing any growth can wither without sustainable programs and healthy,
supportive people. |

We would not exist
without support from our community.
Committed local volunteers have
successfully organized and staffed the annual October Harvest
Fest.
Langetree DUCK FARM Retreat
& Eco Center is a member of the Liberty Area
Chamber of Commerce and the Liberty Chapter of Landowners
Association of Texas.
We strive to provide meaningful
connections: with the land, through workshops and programs; with
others, through hosting weddings,
reunions, and community events; and with self, through a Mind, Body,
Spirit,
Nature focus.
We serve as official host for
Get A Grip, Student Leadership Retreats.
We serve as a Youth Venture
partner. |

Respect for life,
land, and family show in the thoughtful
layout of Langetree DUCK FARM Retreat & Eco Center, and the
various workshops

Respect for what we've been
given, gives us a chance
to give back to others. This is apparent in our staff, an AmeriCorps*VISTA
(Volunteers In Service To America) team who, by nature of their
assignments, serve as full-time volunteers. |
